therapy, workshops, or coaching…

therapy

Do you find yourself making the same choices over and over and want to change? Have you tried changing on your own and found yourself unable to? Do you feel stuck and have no idea how to get out? Do you need a safe place and someone to listen?

If you live in the state of Florida, Amy can bill insurance or take you as a private pay client for therapy.

workshops

Sometimes it’s good to take a longer focus to get a perspective of your life, what you want, and develop a path to get you there. Whether you are on a personal journey of self-discovery, wanting to shed the external need for validation and develop a more authentic self, or a couple wanting to reconnect and learn how to communicate more effectively, resulting in a deeper more meaningful connection, a workshop might be what you need.

one on one coaching

Dive deep into a specific area you are working. After taking a workshop, you may want to explore things you learned or need to process new information. One on one coaching might be the thing you need to move through an area where you feel stuck.

Coaching is also an option if you are seeking regular sessions and live out of the state of Florida.

who I support

I am a relationship-based therapist; when working with me, you will feel heard and seen. We will create goals that you want to accomplish, and I will utilize a variety of tools from my toolbelt to best fit your strengths and personality. I will work with you.

I meet clients where they are and allows them to be seen and heard. By seeing different perspectives, clients are able to expand their understanding and choose to be empowered.

My personality naturally sees more than one side of a story; I don't see things as right or wrong and I don't pass judgment.

To help Determine your insurance benefits, here are some questions to ask your insurance provider:

Is mental health services part of my insurance benefit plan?

How much is my deductible, if any? Have I met my deductible?

Am I limited to how many sessions per the calendar year I can use? If yes, what is my limit?

Do I need to obtain written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?

Your treatment is in your control – Most insurance companies have limits on the treatment type, session frequency, and session quantity. Some insurance companies have certain criteria you must meet for the insurance companies to continue with coverage for your sessions.

Confidentiality – Insurance companies require your personal information and the therapist to provide a mental health diagnosis for them to provide payment or reimbursement for your therapeutic sessions. This becomes part of your medical record.

Please note that your diagnosis information is stored in your record; therefore, the information may be used by the insurance companies to determine your insurance rates and/or eligibility.

Other agencies such as the armed forces, DMV, life insurance companies, etc. may also use this information to determine qualification factors. If you are considering counseling for your minors, please keep this in mind.
